How to Check PF Balance Online

Check your Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) balance in minutes using the official EPFO Member Passbook portal, UMANG app, SMS, or missed-call service. You need an active 12-digit UAN and a linked mobile number.

How to Activate UAN Number

  • Ensure the uploaded image is a scanned JPG/JPEG between 100KB and 500KB.
  • The image MUST clearly show your Name, Bank Account Number, and IFSC Code.
  • If using a cheque book, it must have your name pre-printed on it. Cancelled blank cheques without a printed name are automatically rejected.
  • After ensuring a high-quality scan, simply re-apply for the claim. There is no penalty for re-applying after a rejection.
